Family FAQ

How many pictures will we receive?

You’ll receive a private online gallery with at least 25 professionally edited images to choose from, delivered within 3–4 weeks after your session.
Your gallery includes:
-Easy viewing and downloading
-Full print release for personal use
-Access to a trusted professional photo lab where you can order high-quality prints, albums, and more
If you’d like more images than your package includes, additional photos are available individually or as a full gallery upgrade.

How should we dress for our family session?

Great question! What you wear plays a big role in how your photos look and feel. Here are a few tips to help your family look and feel their best:
- Coordinate, don’t match: Choose a color palette (neutrals, earth tones, pastels, etc.) and mix in coordinating tones and textures. Avoid exact matching outfits.
- Stick to solids or soft patterns: They photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your family’s connection. Avoid busy prints, large logos, or neon colors.
- Comfort matters: Make sure everyone feels good in what they’re wearing — it shows in your photos! Comfortable kids are happy kids.
-Layers & textures: Add cardigans, scarves, or denim jackets to bring dimension and style to your look.
- Plan from head to toe: Don’t forget about shoes! Keep them clean and in line with the style of the outfit.

What if someone in my family absolutely hates getting their photo taken?

No worries at all! You're definitely not alone! It's super common for one (or more!) family members to feel camera-shy or unsure about being photographed. As an experienced family photographer in Laughlin, Nevada, I specialize in creating a relaxed, fun, and low-pressure atmosphere that helps everyone feel at ease, even the most reluctant participants.
I’ll gently guide your family with natural prompts and lighthearted direction, so nothing ever feels forced or overly posed. Most people are surprised at how quickly they forget the camera is even there, and how much fun they actually have!
My goal is always to capture genuine moments, real smiles, and the connection that makes your family authentic, no stiff poses or awkward vibes.

What if someone in our family is sick the day of our session?

Your health and comfort are a top priority. If you or a family member isn’t feeling well, there’s absolutely no penalty; just reach out as soon as possible, and we’ll work together to reschedule your session for a time that works for both of us.
The same goes for me; if I or someone close to me is under the weather, I’ll notify you right away and make sure we find a new date that keeps everyone safe and comfortable.
Life happens, and I’ll always do my best to be flexible and understanding.
